Did you know that too much sitting can have a major impact on your health?

Americans should be getting 150 minutes of exercise per week. That translates to about 30 minutes 5x/week.  Don't lose hope, though.  Studies have shown that small amounts of activity done frequently over the day are good for you.
10-15 minutes of activity after meals has been shown to decrease insulin resistance. For people who have pre-diabetes and diabetes it is an effective way to lower blood sugars, in fact, it works just as well as a commonly prescribed diabetes medication.  So check out these websites for some simple
ideas and get moving!
